IT- Tastic !
With the help from the SCVO Digital Participation Charter Fund. We have been able to purchase items, that we hope will allow the community to be able to meet in a sociable environment and allow them to improve on or gain essential digital skills.
To allow people who aren't currently using the internet to become more confident to search for the best deals online, filling out application forms, finding information on hobbies, using social media etc.
We launched our new IT classes at Mount Vernon Community Hall on the 22/10/2018. All welcome You are free to use our equipment or bring along your own devices to the drop in sessions or classes.

MVCH volunteers were invited along to the Google Digital Garage launch at St Enoch's Square in Glasgow and we met the First Minister

We hope that we can have the Google Digital Garage along to Mount Vernon Community Hall in the near future
03/08/2018 SCVO Digital Participation Charter Fund
Mount Vernon Community Hall has been successful on our SCVO Digital Participation Charter Fund application for £10,000
This will allow us to buy IT equipment and provide IT help for people who need it. To help people build confidence online and improve on their existing skills.
